Siloam Springs Dogwood Festival Wins 2nd for Arkansas Festival of the Year

Siloam Springs, Arkansas, February 15, 2019 - The Siloam Springs Dogwood Festival was awarded Silver for the 2018 Arkansas Festival of the Year by the Arkansas Festival and Events Association.

The winners of the ALFiE Awards for 2018, given by the Arkansas Festivals & Events Association, were announced at the Association’s 35th Annual Conference & Trade Show held in Hot Springs on January 30 & 31. The Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce’s Director of Community Development, Laura Campbell, accepted the award. The ALFiE Awards, “Arkansans Love Festivals & Events,” honor the best and brightest of Arkansas’s festivals and special events. 

Criteria for this award includes “a festival or other special celebration, which stands out among all the festivals in Arkansas, by its creative approach, crowd appeal, media coverage, and/or enhancement of community pride, thus benefiting the state’s quality of life.”
