Cobb-Vantress Brings New Life to Old Downtown Building

Cobb opened their doors in 1916 and since then, has developed into the largest Global Leader in Broiled Breeding.  Robert C. Cobb Sr. first bought the Old Pickard Farm in Littleton, Massachusetts, on November 20, 1916, Cobb’s first farm! Cobb did not move into our beloved town of Siloam Springs until 1961, and took off from there. In 2016, Cobb celebrated 100 years as a company, a huge success in today’s business world!

On October 4, 2018 Cobb-Vantress in Siloam Springs had a Ribbon Cutting for a newly opened location downtown. After the ribbon cutting, employees and the community were invited to celebrate with a full spread of prime rib, Cornish hen, sides and fixings and refreshing ice cream for dessert! The new site downtown, which everyone remembers as the old Allen’s Canning Company Building, has been given new life with renovations and fresh faces. We here at the Chamber of Commerce love having Cobb-Vantress as a part of our downtown!
