Siloam Springs, ARK. — The Deluxe corporation, which considered Siloam Springs for its upcoming season of the Hulu-streamed show “Small Business Revolution” is putting on a free small-business seminar in the community.
The one-day event is April 25, 8:30am-3:30pm with lunch included. Space is limited to 280 attendees, and those interested in attending must register as soon as possible at www.deluxe.com/mysiloamsprings. The seminar will be on the John Brown University campus.
“Northwest Arkansas and the state as a whole is full of creative and savvy businesses, but it is intimidating to be an expert in accounting, social media marketing, and everything involved in making a business thrive. I know our downtown Siloam Springs community is ready to take advantage of this opportunity to take a step back from day-to-day business and receive free expert advice and interactive training to take our businesses to the next level!” said Kelsey Howard, Executive Director of Main Street Siloam Springs.
Siloam Springs was one of five finalists among 14,000 cities across the U.S. in the running to be the featured town on Season 3 of Small Business Revolution. Main Street Siloam Springs, the City of Siloam Springs, and the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce led an effort in February to encourage Arkansans to participate in an online vote that would determine the winning city. Alton, Illinois received the most votes, but Siloam Springs drew national attention and gained significant local support as a result of the contest.
Deluxe aims to promote small business growth beyond the winning city alone; therefore, Siloam Springs is one of ten cities where Deluxe will put on free small-business seminars for both new and seasoned businesses. Deluxe experts are eager to share insights and suggestions to help small business owners, employees, and entrepreneurs achieve great things!
Attendees will learn how to:
- Get found online locally
- Enhance sales and marketing tools
- Identify and manage the customer experience
- Build a budget and manage finances
In addition, attendees will have the chance to win $1,000 in marketing services.
